Description
Okay, this is terrible to admit, but I started painting tiny master copies on my lunch breaks at work and didn’t bother to write down who the original artists were because I didn’t know I’d end up painting so many I’d need to sell them. I was prepping for an effort to get into landscape painting, so I printed out a whole bunch of images from Pinterest and started painting them for practice. I have tried to retrace my steps, but I didn’t save the image and I can’t remember who painted this one. I feel like it was a woman from the early 1900s, though. I owe her an apology. (Or him, if I’m mistaken.) If anyone figures it out, I’ll credit the artist.
I have a 3D printer because my kids insisted they needed it and then printed one Magic: the Gathering deck box and lost interest, so I designed a custom frame for each of these little paintings. Went art nouveau with this one, to fit the era.
Oil on canvas, 2×3, frame included.
