The girl had a lot of patterns going on with a fake tattoo, yoga pants, and the chair. I dig how it turned out. Oil on canvas, 12×20.

These are gross and I love them. Oil on carton, 5×5.

This year I was invited to participate in a Maneki Neko show at Fishcake, in Honolulu. I spent a couple of months painting a whole lot of lucky cat figurines. I am lucky-catted-out. These are available in the gallery through January.

My first gallery exhibition! Paintings are available for viewing or purchase from December 2nd-January 10th at the Downtown Art Center in Honolulu. I’ll be there in person on Sunday, January 3rd, and Sunday, January 10th. It is staggering to be among so many talented Hawai’i artists. Join us if you can (masks and social distance, open Tuesdays-Sundays).

I like top-down lighting. Oil on Arches oil paper, 5×7.

I jammed the flower onto the broken stem backwards and didn’t notice until after I’d painted the entire thing. Oil on board, 10×10 circle.

Never not painting my kids. Oil board, 5×7.

I don’t know why, but I don’t like paintings of bananas. Thought painting my own would fix that. It didn’t. Oil on gessobord, 6×6.
